Elk Neck State Park: Sandy beaches, marshlands and
heavily wooded bluffs comprise the peninsula formed by the
North East and Elk Rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay, where
this park is located. (2,188 acres) Several trails meander through
the diversified topography, revealing the great variety of plant and
animal life. An easy walking trail to Turkey Point Lighthouse
provides a view of the Elk River and the Chesapeake .

Fair Hill Park, Elkton: Fair Hill is a 5,633 acre Natural Resources
Management Area, where multiple management practices are
employed for the maximum use and protection of Maryland's
natural resources. Bordered by Pennsylvania to the north and
less than one half mile west of Delaware, Fair Hill is known for
its pristine fields, woodlands and natural beauty. See a park map.
Gifford Pinchot State Park: Gifford Pinchot State Park,
a 2,338-acre full service park, is in northern York County along
PA 177 between Rossville and Lewisberry. The park consists
of reverting farm fields and wooded hillsides with the 340-acre
Pinchot Lake serving as a prime attraction. Take a map (PDF).
